The 2025 International Summit on Suicide Research will be held November 8 -11, 2025 at the Sheraton Boston Hotel.

Discounted housing accommodations are available at the Sheraton Boston Hotel for the nights of November (pending availability in the block). Traditional rooms are available at $279.00 USD per night, plus applicable taxes and fees. For rooms reserved with more than two occupants, there may additional costs. The discounted housing block cutoff date is Thursday, October 16th 2025, or until the block is exhausted.

Registration rates for regular attendees are based on the attendee’s current country of residence. Click here to view the World Bank country classifications. Attendees still in training qualify for a lower registration rate regardless of current residence (verification of student status is required during the registration process).

2025 membership dues must be paid in order to qualify for the member rate. To validate the member discount, you should have received your individual membership number in an email. If you did not receive this please email membership@suicide-research.org. before completing your registration.

Student Registrations:
All individuals registering as students, regardless of membership status, must provide proof of student status. Acceptable documentation includes a valid student ID or a letter from a professor or direct supervisor confirming your enrollment. IASR also honors the student rate for individuals currently in a medical residency or postdoctoral position. In these cases, a letter from your direct supervisor verifying your current status is required. Please email your documentation to info@suicideresearchsummit.org to receive access to the rate.
Accompanying Person:
A spouse, relative, or significant other (age 18 & older) who accompanies an attendee. An accompanying person may only attend the social functions of the meeting, which include the lunches and receptions. You must pay the accompanying person fee to attend the social functions. The only scientific sessions open to the accompanying persons are the poster sessions. The cost for these guests is $200 and can be added in the registration process. The cost of the Gala is not included in this rate.
Cancellation Policy:
Registration fees will be refunded less a $50 processing fee for requests received by October 1, 2025. Cancellations after October 1, 2025 will not be refunded.
